Please Note: Whilst this is a remote role, preference is for someone who resides a commutable distance from our Reston, VA, office as occasional travel to Reston may be required. Candidates must be able to work eastern or central time hours.

What You Will Do 

As a Senior Reporting Analyst, you will be integrally involved across multiple areas in the EGE&P team, including internal and external reporting on ICF’s Business Development efforts, sales forecasting, Customer Experience (CX), and sales enablement. You will create high-quality reports for use by the C-suite in earnings calls, board meetings, investor relations events, and more. Your role will involve collecting, validating, and transforming data into actionable information and insights to inform critical business decisions. Close attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines consistently, and a curious mindset are essential for success in this role.

These activities and this team are highly visible within the organization and play a critical role in articulating and driving ICF’s business development success.

Your Responsibilities

  • Calculate, measure and analyze key metrics and other analytics for Business Development (i.e., sales, pipeline, wins and losses), CX, and sales enablement to identify trends and extract insights for both quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior leadership in a large, publicly traded company including support for Quarterly Earnings Calls, Investor Relations meetings, and Board of Directors meetings.

  • Follow strict data analysis quality control processes requiring a high level of attention to detail, working across the organization to support data management and compliance.

  • Manage, track and follow-up on customer input, including support for quarterly customer satisfaction survey and resources.

  • Predict future Business Development success based on historical experience, client feedback, and other business intelligence to support sales forecasting.

  • Craft well-structured, complete and logical communications to stakeholders.

  • Engage in meaningful relationship-building efforts across the company to ensure strong working relationships with internal customers, facilitate collaboration, and influence buy-in.

What You Will Bring With You

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a business environment in Business Development, Financial Planning and Administration, or Program Finance.

  • 2+ years’ experience analyzing data, preparing accurate and timely reports and/or Business Development metrics and KPIs for executive level audiences, e.g., senior management, Board of Directors, and/or external audiences, e.g., investors, shareholders.

  • Experience with MS 365, including Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

What We’d Like You To Bring With You

  • Expert-level proficiency with Excel or PowerBI, and data visualization experience to graphically represent findings and outcomes of data analyses.

  • Knowledge of government accounting regulations/contracting and/or experience with publicly traded companies.

  • Knowledge of the Business Development lifecycle.

  • Experience with Mergers and Acquisition integration.

  • Knowledge of Cognos, Costpoint and Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or similar pipeline management/CRM system.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control skills coupled with excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills and the proven ability to manage and track multiple priorities to successful conclusions.

  • Data curiosity and the ability to learn and understand relational databases and data connections, evaluating and recommending solutions and strategies.

  • Experience managing large, complex, cross-functional efforts, multiple priorities, and complex data relationships in a fast-paced, dynamics environment with minimal supervision.

  • Effectively organizes ideas for logical presentation and maximum impact, while anticipating and resolving complex and critical issues.

  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including presentations and meeting facilitation.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$76,848.00 - $130,642.00
