Medical Collective Training Exercise Planner
Key Role:
Support Medical Collective Training exercises that are integrated with the Combat Support Training Program as directed by the Army Reserves. Develop theater specific scripting of Master Scenario Events List (MSEL), or simulation control injects that are integrated with and support lanes training, field training exercises, and constructive staff training in a Live-Virtual-Constructive environment. Develop and maintain exercise specific scenario details in the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), the system of record for the Joint Exercise Program used to plan and manage joint training exercises. Research, identify, and recommend resources required for task execution and completion. Conduct in-depth research on theater specific operations, lessons learned and newly developed tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used in the development of MSEL, or simulation control injects that accurately replicates the operational environment that the training is designed to support. Assist with the development of associated Operations Orders (OPORDs) and medical specific Annexes Army, Corps, and or Joint Task Force (JTF) exercise documents. Participate in Concept Development Workshops, Initial Planning Workshops, Mid Planning Workshops, Final Planning Workshops, and MSEL Conferences to produce exercise control plans and storylines for assigned exercises, as directed.
Basic Qualifications:
10 years of experience in the Military with training military units or planning military exercises
Experience with MSEL event development and management
Experience with scripting exercise-related scenario and operational environment products, including military orders, operational reports, and briefing products
Experience with the Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with training Army units or planning Army exercises in virtual and live environments at Brigade level and below
Experience with the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS), the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), and the Joint Training Tool (JTT)
Knowledge of the Army Health System Operational framework and its application in supporting the operating force to support FHP and HSS mission requirements for the Army
Knowledge of Army training database systems, including FMSWeb and Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS)
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the effective development and delivery of briefings
Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
