The Quality Programs Assistant will provide support to projects primarily within the National Radiology Data Registry (NRDR).  NRDR is a suite of 5-10 clinical registries covering most current imaging modalities with over 4000 participating sites and 200 million exam records.  The primary area of focus for this position is to support users at participating NRDR sites by fielding user issues through phone and email and acting as the first line help staff.  Other responsibilities include providing support for committee members in expanding and improving existing registry tools.  The QP Assistant will work directly with clinician members as well as across departments to develop user documents, guides, videos, webinars and other tools to promote participation in, and improve usability of, the NRDR registry portal.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring help desk phone line and email, supporting user/customer as first line help staff, escalate issues to senior team or IT support as necessary.  Ensure timely and complete resolution of user issues.
  • Supporting Medicare payment programs with a particular focus on the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System audit program.  This will include reviewing exam data submitted by sites and confirming accuracy of data between site and registry.
  • Maintenance of NRDR knowledge base articles using a consistent structure and language across documents and a focus on accuracy, completeness and succinctness to ensure easy navigation across the set of articles.
  • Supporting NRDR committee(s) as staff liaison.  Poll and schedule meetings, work with chair to draft agendas, provide meeting support, draft summary notes and track actions.
  • Working with Director/Sr. Director and other Project Managers to monitor progress of assigned projects.  Identify risks to both timeline and budget if they arise and work with senior staff to propose mitigations.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all registry data and strictly observe HIPAA regulations as necessary. 

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 3 years of related, office experience
    • Particularly customer service phone line experience
  • Some higher level education required
    • Associates or Bachelors preferred
  • Excellent, professional communication skills (verbal and written) required
  • Time management, Detail-oriented, and organized
  • Experience with Smartsheet and Freshdesk (or similar issue tracking system) a plus
  • Ability to work under multiple deadlines, and prioritize work appropriately

This position will work fully remote, but must work East Coast hours (8:30a - 5:00p). When working remotely, you must be self-motivated, possess excellent time management skills, and be highly organized in an environment where shifting priorities are the norm.  A reliable internet connection is a must!

ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy that includes base salary in addition to our full suite of comprehensive benefits (https://www.acr.org/-/media/ACR/NOINDEX/HR/ACR-Benefits-Overview.pdf).  ACR’s goal is to pay competitively and equitably.  It is typical for individuals to be hired in the entry to middle of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on each case’s circumstances.  Full-time employees work a 37.5 hour work week, for a total of 1950 hours annually, furthering our commitment to a healthy work-life balance.  A reasonable estimate of the hourly compensation range is $21.00–$28.00.
