Channel Impact is seeking an Event Manager to join our events team. In this role, you will provide event operations and program management expertise for in-person, hybrid, and digital/virtual tradeshows and events of all sizes.


This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits for a remote worker within the United States or Canada.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage event marketing programs end-to-end
  • Accountability for the overall management of all operations and logistics functions for the event
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to set up and manage the event registration process
  • Assist with session development, including speaker invitations and tracking, session selection, and collecting presentation materials
  • Work directly with vendors and suppliers on room set up, AV, WiFi order, and food and beverage needs for all events.
  • Manage all event logistics (ie. giveaways, collateral, shipping, etc)
  • Support event marketing through website, emails, marketing design, and social media
  • Market and reach out to potential exhibitors, sponsors, and collaborators
  • Organize and lead internal event planning meetings
  • Track exhibitor and sponsor information
  • Work with vendors on exhibit design and installation
  • Update and maintain event budgets
  • Develop and maintain event documents: project plan, timeline, budget, planning decks
  • Lead ongoing stakeholder meetings for each event
  • Oversee on-site deployment and management of all booth activities, auxiliary events, speaking sessions and training of staff
  • Assist in other marketing-related activities as needed.


What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of event experience within the high-tech industry (Required)
  • Previous sponsorship experience working on large conferences, summits, and other marketing events with expo, keynotes, pre-conference training, breakouts, and more
  • Proactively bring creative ideas and improved processes to develop our partner sponsor strategy.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Ability to accommodate up to 30% travel
  • Strong process orientation with a priority for quality
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills (Required)
  • Meeting planning certification(CMP) is a strong plus
  • BA/BS Required
