Job Title: Mortgage Loan Follow Up Specialist (Hybrid Position)

Job Overview

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented mortgage loan professionals to join our esteemed team in a hybrid role based in Cleveland, OH. This position combines the flexibility of working remotely with the opportunity to engage on our corporate campus, where you will oversee a substantial pipeline of loan applications from initiation through to closing, while providing unparalleled customer service in a collaborative, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage both inbound and outbound communications to assist customers with loan inquiries and facilitate the closing process for loan applications.
  • Oversee a pipeline of approximately 55-65 loan applications, sourced via phone and online channels.
  • Clearly articulate financial information and required documentation to clients.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and maintain high productivity levels in a fast-paced setting.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure a smooth customer experience and successful loan closures.
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills, complemented by a proactive and friendly attitude.

Required Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, demonstrating professionalism and clarity.
  • Proficiency in PC usage; experience with mortgage software is preferred.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of recent experience in taking home equity or mortgage loan applications within a retail banking context.
  • Proven track record of managing loan applications from origination through to closing is highly desirable.
