Job Overview

As a Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our procurement strategies. Your responsibilities will include identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that procurement activities align with our high standards for quality, cost, and delivery. Your expertise will be crucial in building strong supplier partnerships, managing costs effectively, and enhancing value across our global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement strategic sourcing plans aimed at cost reduction and supplier performance improvement.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and financial stability.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts to secure advantageous terms for the organization.
  • Assess supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing approaches and stimulate supplier innovation.
  • Support the procurement team in developing and executing supplier performance management processes.
  • Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and lead related efforts.
  • Oversee the qualification and evaluation processes for suppliers.
  • Partner with legal and risk management teams to ensure adherence to sourcing and contractual policies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance sourcing strategies continuously.

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in sourcing software and tools, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the commercial real estate industry and its supply chain dynamics is a plus.
  • Experience in global sourcing and collaboration with suppliers across various regions.
  • Leadership experience in cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships at the executive level is preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

The estimated total compensation for this role ranges from \(100,000.00 to \)125,000.00 USD per year, including potential bonuses. This range is an estimation and not guaranteed; final compensation will depend on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and internal equity.
