Key Responsibilities

As a Principal Cloud Solution Architect, your contributions will be crucial in the following areas:

  • Spearhead all phases of solution development, encompassing ideation, execution, launch, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams, including development, account management, and executive leadership, to expand a diverse portfolio of solutions that boost productivity and profitability.
  • Advocate for strategic solutions that underpin business development, providing essential support to sales teams during product launches.
  • Offer expert strategic direction throughout the solution development lifecycle, ensuring seamless alignment between client demands and company offerings.
  • Convert customer requirements into actionable operational strategies, guaranteeing efficient and timely solution delivery.
  • Conduct thorough research into prevailing industry trends and best practices to ensure service offerings remain relevant and competitive.
  • Recommend enhancements that adapt to changing business needs and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Engage in business development conversations with both internal teams and external executives to foster a unified approach to solution implementation.
  • Monitor financial performance, manage associated risks, and ensure that solutions consistently meet both company and client expectations.
  • Assess business requirements and potential challenges to deliver impactful and innovative solutions.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 12 years of expertise in systems architecture, design, and software development for enterprise products and services, particularly in the health and human services arena.
  • Mastery in cloud-based development (AWS, Google, or Azure) employing infrastructure-as-code (IAC) methodologies.
  • Proficiency in web programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Java (with a preference for C# .Net).
  • Familiarity with client-side frameworks including Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Experience with Agile/Lean methodologies, Git and Gitflow (or similar), as well as databases like PostGres, SQLServer, or real-time/event-driven databases (e.g., Redis, MongoDB).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Extensive experience in systems architecture and software development with emphasis on practical application in the relevant sectors.
