Job Overview

Join our esteemed Information Systems team as an Epic Analyst specializing in Data Courier and Release Management in a remote capacity. This pivotal role involves orchestrating Epic Data Courier operations, driving the development and execution of shared master file strategies, and ensuring seamless planning, testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance workflows. You will be integral to managing change control and coordinating critical Epic environment activities, including updates, upgrades, and build migrations. Your collaborative efforts across departments will contribute to the identification, development, and implementation of effective information security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Courier Administration:
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of Epic Projects in terms of data structure and key application processes.
    • Oversee EGC records and the Data Courier Interfaces.
    • Review and apply changes based on recommendations from Epic Technical Considerations, collaborating with Application teams to evaluate impacts.
    • Manage System Definition INIs to ensure synchronization among environments.
    • Support and adhere to Change Control processes.
    • Facilitate process improvements for all Epic Applications.
    • Train and assist analysts in Data Courier/Content Management procedures.
    • Create and manage Content Management and Data Courier ECLS and IPGs.
    • Map and sustain Epic Content Management, Data Courier, Sherlock, and Nova provisioning.
    • Coordinate and monitor Epic Project build migrations, including Monthly Maintenance activities for Non-Project builds to Production.
    • Assist in maintaining and coordinating Epic-related resources such as IMO, Medispan, Exitcare, and Micromedex.
    • Develop and update process documentation and knowledge base articles.
    • Conduct monthly audits for Production migrations.
  • Release Management:
    • Document and comprehend the structure of Epic Environments.
    • Manage Nova and provide assistance to teams regarding its utilization.
    • Resolve issues pertaining to Epic applications and serve as a communication backup for Epic Environment activities.
    • Understand and comply with the Release Authorization (RA) process for Epic.
    • Collaborate with Epic Technical Consultants and Application teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Ensure the stability of the Production environment for Epic applications.
    • Address server errors in conjunction with technical and application teams.
  • Testing Coordination:
    • Assist in coordinating Integrated Testing during major releases.
    • Oversee Integrated Testing processes and collaborate to develop new test scripts with Project Teams.
    • Conduct Migration Audits during Integrated Testing Weeks.
    • Work alongside software vendors and application teams to implement automated testing for Epic.
Required Skills

  • Profound understanding of Data Courier and Content Management Structures.
  • Proven experience with Epic Build, Implementation, and Support.
  • Familiarity with Epic Release Management and Integrated Testing.
  • Exceptional communication skills across diverse audiences.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of server systems.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with Eggplant Testing Automation Software Administration is advantageous.
  • Epic Application or Data Courier Administration Certification is preferred.
