Position Summary

As an Online Learning and Customer Service Specialist, you will be instrumental in developing engaging online learning experiences and delivering outstanding customer support. Your proactive and approachable demeanor will ensure that our community members have a positive interaction with our offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curate captivating online learning courses utilizing specialized software.
  • Provide operational assistance for online courses and live sessions.
  • Engage with customers through support channels, delivering information and assistance concerning our products and services.
  • Process orders efficiently and with accuracy.
  • Address customer inquiries and support requests, escalating complex issues to designated specialists when necessary.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, documenting inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned to bolster team efforts.
  • Leverage your expertise in specific areas to address inquiries or refer them to the appropriate team members.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a customer-centric approach.
  • Active listening skills with effective conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong organizational capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfort with managing daily customer support through an online ticketing system.
  • Proficient in computer operations and enthusiastic about learning new software, including:
    • CRM systems (e.g., ChargeBee, Stripe)
    • Learning Management Systems (e.g., LearnWorlds, Articulate)
    • Customer Support Suite (e.g., Freshdesk)
    • Project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira)
    • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
    • WordPress skills
    • Familiarity with Google Suite, Zoom, Vimeo, Amazon AWS, and MailChimp
Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer support capacity.
  • Familiarity with our organization and offerings, especially in Vajrayana Online, is advantageous.
  • Understanding or willingness to learn about product/service specialization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address technical issues.
  • Background in IT is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Chinese is considered a plus.
