Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Client Director to lead our initiatives in selling security services and technology solutions to a targeted group of high-profile strategic accounts within your designated territory. This remote position allows you to manage and oversee all elements of the sales cycle for these accounts, working collaboratively with a cross-functional team to develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year strategic account management plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional team, collaborating with Client Solution Architects and Client Operations Specialists to ensure effective sales execution and meet the needs of clients.
  • Develop and refine a multi-year strategic account management plan that aligns with the core business objectives of your clients while addressing their cybersecurity risks.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client executives at various levels, positioning our organization as their primary partner in security solutions.
  • Enhance client satisfaction by meeting with clients to document their business, technology, and security goals, and conducting quarterly reviews to track progress and adapt strategies as necessary.
  • Establish a robust sales pipeline that exceeds assigned targets and achieve gross margin objectives of over $3.5 million annually.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of our security services and technologies to clients.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with technology collaborators to maximize sales opportunities by creating and sharing leads.

Required Skills

  • 7-10 years of experience in solution and services-based sales, preferably within Information Technology or Security.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing territory and account management plans, consistently exceeding multi-million-dollar quotas.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, effectively guiding cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration among sales, technical, and support personnel.
  • Strong business acumen with a keen understanding of how business objectives correlate with cybersecurity risks, enabling the formulation of complex security solutions.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, capable of forging productive connections with key executives and sponsors within accounts.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, along with strong negotiation expertise.

Qualifications

  • A background in selling complex, multi-year solutions to Fortune 1000 clients is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with IT Infrastructure and Risk & Compliance markets is advantageous.
  • Experience in the sale of management consulting services is preferred.
