Your missions

Join our pioneering medical technology startup as a Senior Embedded System Engineer, where your expertise will drive the creation of groundbreaking embedded systems. Location: 100% Remote (Candidates must reside in Colorado or be open to relocation)

Compensation

  • Salary: \(120,000 - \)145,000 + Equity

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the design, development, and enhancement of firmware for Internet of Things (IoT) medical devices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including mechanical, hardware, software, regulatory, and clinical professionals—to ensure flawless product integration and performance.
  • Manage post-launch support, including troubleshooting and over-the-air (OTA) updates for our device portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in embedded C programming and hands-on experience with microcontrollers and semiconductors (such as ARM Cortex and STM32).
  • Solid understanding of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C) and principles of hardware design.
  • Experience with wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, CAT-M) and low-power design methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
