Oracle CPQ Lead Consultant

Job Summary

A Lead Consultant at Argano is part of the consulting family, responsible for providing strategic technology consulting services to large clients or within the organization, leading major strategic initiatives, and managing key client relationships. They apply extensive experience and knowledge of a client's business or an area of technology to help them make improvements in how they operate, most frequently to help them grow revenue or become more profitable. They offer recommendations for entering new markets, making existing products more competitive or implementing operational improvements. They indirectly be mentors to other areas and grades.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in one or more areas of consulting technology.
  • Perform hands-on technical design, solution architecture, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable and meet business requirements. Identify and document technical gaps.
  • Liaise between technical, functional, business and system integrator teams.
  • Be recognized as Techno/Functional expert in CPQ and other Oracle CX Applications.
  • Conduct solution architecture reviews.
  • Guide technical team to deliver high quality solutions.
  • Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams.
  • Manage task assignments within the teams. Monitor and drive issues to resolution.
  • Collaborate with large clients or internal stakeholders to assess their needs and challenges and provide expert recommendations and solutions. Lead major client engagements and oversee project portfolios.
  • Design, develop and implement the solution in the technology solution to meet the client needs.
  • Lead and oversee projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, and that they meet quality standards.
  • Provide direct and indirect mentorship and guidance to other teams and consultants, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in systems and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate and select technology vendors, products, and services that best meet the organization's needs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technological trends and innovations and assess their relevance to the organization.

Education

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.
  • MBA, relevant master's degree or PhD (technical accounting, management system, Business Admin, etc.) expected.

Experience

  • 8 to 10 years of consulting or industry experience.
  • 6+ years in leading Oracle CPQ project implementations in commerce, configuration, and document modules; in implementing integrations with external applications CRM and ERP; and in integrating Oracle CPQ Cloud and/or Oracle CPQ with Salesforce.com or Dynamics
  • Oracle CPQ Cloud Administration
  • Oracle CPQ Cloud Configurators and Selectors setup BML / BMQL
  • Oracle CPQ Cloud Pricing setup
  • Oracle CPQ Cloud Commerce setup
  • Oracle CPQ Cloud Doc Engine
  • Extensive experience in consulting or a related role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Different roles such as consultant, network administration, system analysis, or project management.
  • Consulting experience in a similar role in a professional services firm or industry experience at a strategic level is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the technologies and systems relevant.
  • Leading and managing different projects
  • Solid grasp of various technologies
  • Preferred experience in Sales Cloud CRM, Subscription Management, Field Service and/or Service Cloud

  • Multitasking: This role may involve working on multiple projects simultaneously, so strong multitasking and time management skills are essential.
  • Strong understanding: Various domains such as networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software development, databases, etc. Understanding of business processes and how technology can be aligned with business goals. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals in a clear and understandable manner. In-depth knowledge of industry-specific technologies and best practices.
  • Strategic Leadership: Thought leadership for projects and require visionary leadership skills.
  • Client Management: Managing key client accounts and relationships at a high level is critical. Familiarity with different operating systems and software applications.
  • Industry Reputation: Building and maintaining a strong industry reputation and network are important.
  • Business Development: Identifying and pursuing significant business growth opportunities is a core responsibility.
