Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team. This remote position presents an exciting opportunity to lead a variety of mechanical engineering projects across sectors such as commercial, education, government, healthcare, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop sustainable mechanical systems for various buildings and facilities.
  • Engage in technical discussions with clients on MEP topics and act as the Engineer of Record, ensuring compliance with code requirements and client expectations.
  • Guide project teams in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership within project teams, fostering a collaborative working environment.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in utilizing software tools, including REVIT, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, IES, and MS Office.
  • In-depth knowledge of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.
  • Strong technical competence in HVAC design.
  • Leadership and mentorship capabilities to develop junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • A valid PE license is required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the mechanical engineering field, particularly within the AEC (Architectural, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
  • Desirable qualifications include LEED AP BD+C accreditation and WELL Certification.
