Summary:
Menlo Security is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Browser Management Product Manager to own and drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our innovative Browser Management solution. You'll play a pivotal role in defining and delivering features that empower organizations to comprehensively manage and secure their browser environments, including configuration management, extension control, security hardening, and seamless integration with the broader desktop management ecosystem.
We're looking for someone who thinks like a general manager, operates like an entrepreneur, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll need to be resourceful, adaptable, and have a bias for action. You'll own the Browser Management product and be responsible for its success, from conception to launch and beyond.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy: Define and execute the product strategy for Menlo Security's Browser Management solution, encompassing configuration management, extension control, security hardening, and integration capabilities. Align this strategy with overall company goals and customer needs. Act as the "CEO" of Browser Management, making strategic decisions that drive growth and adoption.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis within the browser security and management space to identify opportunities and threats. Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations impacting browser security and management.
Customer Insights: Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and requirements around browser management, security, and integration with their existing IT infrastructure. Be the voice of the customer within the organization.
Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key features, releases, and timelines, specifically for Browser Management. Prioritize ruthlessly and make data-driven decisions.
Product Requirements: Define detailed product requirements and user stories for Browser Management features and enhancements across all areas of functionality. Work closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders. Ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
Product Launch: Lead the go-to-market strategy for new Browser Management releases and feature enhancements, including pricing, positioning, and marketing. Execute flawlessly and drive early adoption.
Product Adoption: Drive product adoption and usage of Browser Management through customer engagement, training, and support. Be obsessed with customer success and continuously iterate on the product based on feedback.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure successful product delivery and adoption for Browser Management. Build strong relationships and foster collaboration across teams.
Ecosystem Integration: Drive partnerships and integrations with key players in the desktop management ecosystem to ensure seamless interoperability and maximize customer value.
Thought Leadership: Represent Menlo Security at industry events, conferences, and webinars, showcasing thought leadership in browser security and management. Contribute to thought leadership content and evangelize the company's vision for a safer and more manageable browsing experience. Be a passionate advocate for the product and the company.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of product management experience, preferably with a focus on security, endpoint management, or browser-related technologies. Demonstrated success in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of browser technology, security vulnerabilities, extension management, and best practices. Familiarity with AI/ML, compliance frameworks, web technologies, and desktop management ecosystems is a plus.
Product Management Skills: Proven ability to define product strategy, conduct market analysis, gather customer insights, and develop product roadmaps.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter with a bias for action. Ability to take ownership, make decisions, and drive results with minimal supervision.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
Leadership Skills: Ability to influence and collaborate across teams and functions. Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term product vision for Browser Management.
Passion: A genuine passion for cybersecurity and a desire to make browsing safer and more manageable for organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with web technologies, browsers, and desktop management solutions. Deep understanding of how these technologies intersect and impact security.
Hands-on development work with leading browsers: Experience in developing extensions, plugins, or other integrations for browsers like Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Brave, etc., showcasing a technical understanding of their inner workings.
MBA or equivalent experience: While not required, an MBA or equivalent experience demonstrates a strong foundation in business strategy and decision-making.
