Job description

We are looking for a Backend Game Developer to design game mechanics, implement math models, and develop tools for statistical analysis and game simulations.

Requirements

University degree in mathematics/computer science/technology/engineering;
At least 1 year of commercial experience as a developer;
Strong scripting skills in Python (OOP);
Experience in developing client-server applications (Flask);
A high level of attention to detail;
Experience with Git (or other VCS);
Data-driven and analytical mindset in decision-making;
English B2+.

Will be a plus:
An understanding of how slot games work;
An experience as a game mathematician (or similar position);
Motivated by challenges and stretch goals;
Ability to look at games from the players' point of view;
Teamwork experience;
Self-organization, ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities:

Develop engaging game mechanics and mathematics in collaboration with Product Owners and Game Mathematicians;
Implement game math models in the game code;
Fine-tune game mechanics and mathematics to create the best possible product;
Perform simulations of game math;
Rapid prototyping of game mechanics to prove the concept;
Develop game bots and tool for statistics analysis.
