Title: Client Development Manager (100% Remote) 

Contract: Full-time, Independent Contractor  

Jurisdictions: South America, UK and Europe (US time zone aligned).

A well-established and growing international law firm is looking for a Client Development Manager to support our growing team.

The Role 

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced Client Development Manager who will drive growth for the Legal Outsourcing function. This role would suit a person with experience in Business Development, client or account management, in a professional services firm. As a remote working Firm, we work across many jurisdictions, including the US, UK, and Europe – therefore, knowledge and/or experience in growing businesses internationally is crucial. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for driving client acquisition through effective client development strategies and innovative marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on supporting the continued growth of our Legal Outsourcing practice with their client base (across FS, Private Equity, and Hedge Funds in particular). 
  • Establishing a new business development calendar of client outreach activity and campaigns 
  • Direct management of a portfolio of early-stage new business accounts. 
  • Sourcing and effectively qualifying leads and new opportunities from existing and potential clients. 
  • Subject matter expert in the Legal Outsourcing function.  
  • Can take the lead in client conversations to gain a deep understanding of the client’s needs to appropriately sell in the Firm’s services. 
  • Works with Marketing & Communication team members to produce marketing collateral, including pitch materials, presentations, and client communications. 
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, client needs, and business opportunities. 
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including attorneys, partners, and other marketing and BD team members, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with firm-wide objectives. 
  • Tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of marketing and BD initiatives to provide stakeholder team with updates to make strategic decisions. 
  • This role will align to US time-zones (PST – EST) and the ideal candidate will be able to flex their hours where appropriate. 

Qualifications 

  • 6+ years of experience in a client-facing role within a legal, financial services, hedge funds or Private Equity environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 
  • Experience working in a global or cross-border environment is preferred. 
  • Experience delivering excellent client service in a consultative role to C-Suite and senior executives.
