Description

Due to the critical service needs of the communities we serve, we are offering up to a $6,000 sign-on bonus. This full-time position involves working 40 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday during the day shift, with responsibilities rotating between offices in Columbia (Berrywood, Woodrail, and Worley).

Joining our remarkable Compass Health Nursing team means being part of a group dedicated to providing quality and compassionate care. This role involves running a Medication Clinic and acting as a case manager. Our staff utilizes the Compass "Champion" behavior to best serve our clientele while actively communicating with clinical doctors and customer relations specialists to ensure our clients are well taken care of.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the medication clinic.
  • Assist in other clinics and regions as needed, with time traveled coordinated by the Supervisor.
  • Review medication education forms with clients.
  • Manage the need for medication refills and complete all required documentation for the medication clinic and psychiatric consultation for EHR.
  • Administer IM medications and dispense samples while maintaining accurate logs of all medications received and dispensed.
  • Assist with Prior Authorizations and maintain injection lists, ordering and delivery, verifying orders, and discussing potential side effects.
  • Complete vital signs for every client and coordinate pre-diabetes screening processes when necessary.
  • Broad knowledge and experience with computers are necessary for this position.

Qualifications

  • High School/GED degree required; Associate/Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: GPN, LPN, GN, or RN required, must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation.
