Scrive is looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Engineer who can help us take testing to the next level. You will join our QA team, composed of talented people from diverse cultural backgrounds and skill sets, but with one ultimate goal, that is to ensure the highest quality of Scrive products.

This is a remote position for anyone based in the EU, but if you’re in Stockholm, you’re always welcome to work at our beautiful HQ. You’ll report directly to the Head of QA and will have all the tools and training you need to hit the ground running. 

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Your challenge
Our products include the web services, eID hub, an e-sign app for mobile devices, and various integrations on third party platforms. You will be working in an agile environment. The primary responsibility is to help the development team identify the risks, and ensure the quality of Scrive products.

Your daily tasks mostly include exploratory testing but you are eager to learn new technologies including test automation.

What you will do:

  • Exploratory Testing: Dive into our products, find bugs fast, and make sure the critical ones get fixed before launch.

  • Test Planning: Create, maintain, and execute test cases and plans in line with our release schedule.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers to ensure every release is a success.

  • Types of Testing: Be hands-on with web, API, mobile, and end-to-end testing, adapting to whatever’s needed.

  • Provide input/feedback to automated tests. Identify areas that can be improved

Who we think you are

To succeed in the role as Quality Assurance Engineer, we expect you to meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years in software testing

  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of web and API testing

  • Tools: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools

  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, documentation, and test management skills

  • You need to be fluent in English, in both written and spoken.

🌟 Also, big bonus points if you have:
  • Experience with test automation (Web or API)

  • Knowledge of load testing, mobile testing, or performance testing

  • Skills in Python, Javascript/Typescript, or other scripting languages

  • Familiarity with Linux and CI/CD pipelines
