Join the CrowdGen team as an Independent Contractor for Project Dovetail, an advancement of ID document recognition technology! CrowdGen is seeking participants to help train and test automated ID document recognition algorithms by capturing photos and videos of various ID documents.
Responsibilities:
- Capture 10 photos and 10 five-second videos of the front and back sides of your ID documents (driver's license, passport, Medicare card, other identification cards, gun license, or boat license).
- Use different locations, lighting, and backgrounds to improve document detection accuracy across diverse environments.
- Complete a total of 10 tasks (1 photo + 1 video for each task). You can submit up to three different ID documents.
The task will take approximately 10 to 20 minutes to complete.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be a resident of New Zealand.
- Must have valid, non-expired ID documents (driver's license, passport, Medicare card, other identification cards, gun license, or boat license).
- Access to a stable internet connection, an Android or iOS smartphone, and a secondary device to scan QR codes.
Compensation:
Payment is provided for each accepted ID document submission (photos + videos). All 10 photos and 10 videos must be accepted for the submission to qualify for payment.
This task work is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you will receive an email from CrowdGen regarding the creation of an account using your application email address. You will need to log in to this account and reset the password, complete the setup requirements, and proceed with your application for this project-based role.
