About the role The Design Quality Control Specialist is a crucial role that ensures the highest standards of design quality across all client projects. Working closely with the Project Management team, this position is responsible for maintaining design consistency, adherence to brand guidelines, and overall design excellence for a portfolio of 100+ clients.

The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for design, understand our client's expectations (startup founders worldwide who love beautiful and minimal designs), and be able to provide constructive feedback to improve design outcomes.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Quality Control: Perform thorough quality checks on all projects, review final delivery files before they are sent to clients, and ensure all design elements are appropriately set and accessible
• Design Guidelines: Develop and maintain design guidelines and standards for various project types
• Feedback and Improvement: Provide constructive feedback to designers to improve quality and consistency
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs
• Training: Conduct online one-on-one and group training sessions with designers to improve overall quality and adherence to guidelines
• Trend Analysis: Stay updated on design trends, especially in the startup industry, and incorporate relevant trends into our design processes
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong experience in graphic design with a focus on quality control
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
• Keen eye for detail and ability to spot design inconsistencies
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience using design software such as Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or Trello
• A portfolio of previous work that demonstrates your design critique and improvement skills
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field is preferred but not required

• Access to design software such as Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Available to work from 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern Standard Time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
