Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an Integration Lead to define, plan, and coordinate the integration activities of new and modified requirements associated with the modernization of the current Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Ground Sustainment Services (LGSS) on-premises systems as they migrate to the cloud. Work with the Group Lead and Systems Engineer to support the full life-cycle development of future infrastructure, product generation, and ground command and control components as they are modernized. Reports to the Modernization Lead. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Coordinates with multiple working groups and engineering teams. Ensures requirements and specifications are met. Ensures project/department milestones are met and adhere to approved budgets.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Serve as the team's Modernization Integration Lead
  • Consult with management, customers, and external contractors regarding the project schedule, resources, plans, designs, and implementations
  • Develop and maintain integration schedules
  • Oversee, manage, and deconflict resources
  • Assist with Program Increment Planning
  • Interface with Modernization Architect and Cloud providers
  • Identify risk reduction mitigations
  • Define, prioritize, assign, and monitor team tasks, individual workloads and assignments
  • Provide oversight in standards, verification, and validation adherence
  • Interact with customers regarding strategies, requirements, problem solving, and support
  • Communicate project status to various levels of management
  • Interface with management for reach-back support
  • Work with minimal supervision/guidance
  • Assist in technical risk/opportunity identification
  • Occasional CONUS travel

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Five years supporting JPSS/LGSS systems integrations and architectures.
  • Knowledge of common system integration methods and technologies including Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, team members, and customers
  • Established project management skills.
  • Must have an active Public Trust security clearance.

Desired Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Knowledge:

  • Familiar with agile scrum frameworks

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
