The Executive Experience Director, serving as the executive producer for Daktronics Creative Services, is responsible for leading a team that collaborates with customers to design extraordinary experiences using audio and visual systems. This individual is capable of creating and delivering impactful and memorable experiences for both customers and their audiences.

 

We have a strong preference for this individual to reside near our corporate headquarters in South Dakota. Much of the work for this position can be done from a home office. A typical work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (CT), though hours may vary depending on business need.

A successful candidate has skill in the following:

  • Creating Experiences:
    • Continuously explore new design trends and look for ways to integrate these into productions.
    • Demonstrate the ability to "Design Experiences" for audiences.
    • Successfully collaborated with customers to implement their vision for an audience experience during every phase of production: visualization, storyboarding, creation, approvals, and delivery.
    • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to connect their vision to meet the customer needs.
    • Market insight; understand, anticipate, communicate, and respond to market trends and trajectory.
    • Experience working with audio-visual assets, including editorial and finishing practices.
  • Selling Experiences:
    • Create and deliver strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
    • Imagine and communicate solutions to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Adjust sales strategy approach to industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
    • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
    • Work independently and through others to accomplish tasks and follow up without being prompted.
    • Creative expertise and experience in the verticals that Daktronics serves.
  • Supervision Experiences:
    • Possess leadership skills.
    • Positively communicate company perspective, vision, and direction to employees.
    • Grow individuals through Precision Leadership.
    • Inspire to unlock the potential of all team members.
    • Set and communicate clear expectations for work and work assignments while balancing load and capacity.
    • Develop employees.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with related experience required.
  • Supervision experience required.
  • 6+ years producer experience within or for a production company and client services or equivalent.
  • Preference given to candidates who have produced large complex events and shows using content to connect to audiences in sport and live event environments.
  • Able to work well within a collaborative team environment.
  • Able to listen and work collaboratively to create customer experiences that generate excitement and drive ongoing purchases through outstanding results.
  • Experienced with walking in our customers' shoes, understanding their challenges, and knowing how help them achieve great success.
  • Exceptional creative abilities – looking to push the envelope and develop and implement fresh ideas.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Deep understanding of project management, workflow, and infrastructure.
  • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Intermediate knowledge with Design Tool and Event Production Systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid driver’s license and good driving record. Motor vehicle records will be checked. Must be able to meet and maintain Daktronics Qualified Driver status.
  • Ability to meet all workplace safety requirements.
