Position Description:

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join the Lighting Sector Kenall Team. This is a remote position. As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the West Coast territory, your primary responsibilities will include driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with lighting agencies in your region. You will represent Pinnacle Architectural Lighting and its products within your territory while directly supporting assigned agents. The role involves creating and presenting annual business plans, implementing sales forecasts, and conducting regular business reviews with agents. You will report directly to the Vice President of Sales.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Establish quotas and incentives, conduct regular account reviews, and negotiate contracts to ensure team accountability.
  • Travel 50%-75% within the territory to maximize sales efforts, deliver impactful presentations, and provide product training.
  • Attend agent events, national trade shows, and industry conferences to provide sales support as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and growth areas.
  • Design and deliver engaging sales pitches and presentations to both large groups and individuals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams based on market insights and customer feedback to improve product offerings and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:

Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of products, markets, channels, and the electrical/lighting industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets through effective sales and negotiation skills.
  • Resilience and persistence to overcome challenges and achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Location: The ideal candidate resides on the West Coast and works from home when not traveling within the territory.
  • BS or BA from an accredited university or equivalent experience in the field with increasing responsible positions.

Pay Range: $120,000-$190,000/annually
