OCI is actively recruiting for an experienced and skilled Hardware Demand Planner. The Demand Planner will play a critical role in collaborating with Sales and Service teams to accurately forecast and consolidate a unified demand signal. With a wealth of experience, this professional excels in developing and implementing comprehensive demand planning strategies that align with the company's objectives and market dynamics. Leveraging their expertise, the Demand Planner refines forecasting models, analyzes historical data, and incorporates market intelligence to generate accurate and insightful demand projections. Their responsibilities extend to fostering effective communication and collaboration with Services teams, ensuring a synchronized approach to demand forecasting. This role requires a proactive and strategic mindset, as the Demand Planner actively engages in identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the demand planning function. With an eye for detail and deep understanding of the public cloud market, this individual significantly contributes to the company's overall success by ensuring a well-coordinated and informed response to market demands.Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Comprehensive ownership for demand planning/forecasting in partnership with OCI Service & Sales teams, supporting organic & and inorganic requirements for both internal and external demand.
  • Proficient in analytics and data-driven decision-making, adept at 'What-if' analysis, and skilled in utilizing tools such as Excel, databases, and business intelligence systems.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency, takes ownership, drives action, possesses strategic thinking abilities, and excels in anticipating and managing risks.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with executives, with the ability to comprehend complex data, simplify it, and convey accurate stories. Collaborates closely with Service teams, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.
  • Efficiently manages Product Lifecycles, overseeing new product introductions, and executing end-of-life management for various SKUs.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, process development, and operational scalability within Demand Planning.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in forecasting, analytics, supply chain, or operations.
  • Comfortable with deep data dives, strong verbal and written skills, quick adaptation.
  • Demonstrated use of data/metrics for decision-making.
  • Effective handling of multiple initiatives, prioritizing with precision.
  • Working knowledge of SQL; advanced skills a plus.
  • Advanced Excel modeling proficiency.
  • Program management expertise, influencing cross-team stakeholders.
  • Operational mindset: understand, execute, improve.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, or related field preferred.
  • Strategic thinker in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based products and/or technology.
  • Expertise in managing projects and developing business requirements for planning software and systems.
  • MBA.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 - $199,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
