Business Analyst

T-Rex Solutions is looking for an Analyst to support the IRS IT Applications Development (AD) Data Delivery Services (DDS) organization’s data modernization efforts, transitioning on-prem data and business intelligence (BI) processing to a new cloud-based platform called the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP). This project will involve analyzing the current BI portfolio and creating a release plan that establishes what legacy functionality needs to be reengineered, rebuilt, and incrementally operationalized onto the new platform, and completing a Proof of Concept to determine the solution approach for migrating and refactoring their data.

You will help support data modernization activities and be responsible for a variety of business and functional tasks including, but not limited to, requirements gathering standards, guidelines, and analyzing phase methodology to meet the client's overall objectives. You will also assist in providing client meeting and deliverable support as required, define and document solution requirements, support technical teams, and help identify relevant delivery risks.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience working with clients and client deliverables on tight deadlines
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies
• Demonstrated experience identifying business needs and activities and ensuring that relevant processes are optimized, effective, and meet customer requirements
• 2-4 years of experience working on projects of similar size and scope
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Active IRS Security Clearance (preferred) or ability to be cleared
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
