Head of Corporate Governance and Risk - remote

A well-established charity that supports womens health and wellbeing is looking for an interim (initial 6-month contract) Head of Corporate Governance and Risk.

This is a remote role with some UK travel and keep in touch days at the London office. You will be reporting directly to the Executive Chair and be responsible for five direct reports.

The key requirements for this Head of Corporate Governance and Risk role:

• Experience of governance and risk within the charitable sector, understanding the rigors of regulatory requirements.
• Principal advisor to the Board and executives in all aspects of corporate governance.
• Regular review of policy, legislation, regulatory and government developments to ensure Board if fully briefed.
• Organisation lead for process of risk management, policy oversight and regulatory compliance including liaison with regulators.
  
  

Were looking for a Head of Corporate Governance and Risk with:

• Post graduate level qualifications in relevant discipline for governance or risk management.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Ability to communicate clearly and robustly at board and regulatory level.
• Charity governance experience.
