Oracle’s AI Services offering helps modernize applications and processes for organizations across the globe, with a range of deployment models and operational controls. We are seeking an EMEA specialist to join our expanding team.
What You’ll Do
Join a team of specialists, growing to address the high interest in AI from EMEA customers. We seek an individual contributor to join a team of motivated customer specialists and capitalise on Oracle’s AI Services portfolio, supporting the broader sales team for inspiring customers to progress from identifying business problems to rolling out a solution.
We are looking for a professional with solid experience in Cloud Infrastructure, application development and pre-trained AI, able to understand the customer issues in their journey to Cloud and application modernisation. The ideal candidate must have a strong Cloud IaaS/PaaS oriented mindset and must have a broad understanding of application development frameworks with proven hands-on experience in application modernization initiatives.

What you will do in the role:
- Work with relevant account teams to bring in deep technical expertise and help close business.
- Stay up to date with all OCI pre-trained AI Services - AI Language, Vision, Document Understanding, Speech, Digital Assistant, Generative AI and other upcoming cloud offerings
- Work in close collaboration with the product engineering team, other colleagues, partners, ensuring that you maintain the lead in terms of knowledge and market understanding
- Identify go to market challenges and facilitate access to this information for product engineering teams
- Identify business requirements together with customers and formalize them to facilitate a solution
- Craft proof of concepts and pilots adapted to customer requirements
- Pilot latest features together with customers
- Document patterns, reference architectures, workshops in a standardized way, to be reused by global audiences
- Interact with all roles at customer – including CIO, CTO, IT Architects, technical staff and Business representative
- Make recommendations on integration strategies, use of pre-trained AI to modernise existing applications and create new ones
- Develop and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Lead aspects of the technical sales process. Advise internal and external clients on best practices related to the pre-trained AI domain.
- Guide customers in their application modernization journey through innovation.
Others key requirements are:
- A strong understanding and practical experience in planning and delivering AI enhanced applications with quick time to market
- Detailed knowledge of architectural approaches including conversational AI, image recognition, speech to text and text to speech
- Up to date knowledge of IT market and trends in relation to pre-trained AI
- Proven, hands-on knowledge of Python and SQL
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Gen2
- Knowledge of Oracle Applications portfolio
- Knowledge of AI related offerings from AWS, GCP, Azure
- Cloud Application Development or AI related certification
- Cloud architecture certification (Oracle, AWS, Azure or Google)
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: analysis of challenges, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.
- Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
- Ability to analyse data, identify patterns in projects, market; take informed decisions and documented suggestions
- C-level presentation expertise
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Ability to travel as needed.
