About the Team:
We are responsible for managing cloud operations for Intapp products and services, such as building, automating, monitoring, documenting, securing and managing all infrastructure, and database systems. The team interacts and works cooperatively with development, product management, professional services and other teams and provides expertise that promotes constant performance and improvements for our products.
Position Overview:
The Database Administrator is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of SQL Server systems. The main goal is to ensure the security, availability and consistent performance of Intapp platforms.
What you will do:
Configure and maintain SQL Server instances and databases
Proactive monitoring systems health and performance
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
Provide suggestions for solutions
On-call support in emergencies
Perform regular maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
Check and optimize SQL queries
What you will need:
3+ years of experience working as a SQL Server DBA.
2+ years of experience of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for SQL Servers.
Microsoft Azure Cloud Experience.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server AlwaysOn.
2+ years of experience with performance tuning, and optimization.
3+ years of experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
Script language knowledge (PowerShell/Python).
Terraform usage experience.
Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory, Windows Cluster.
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
Individually motivated, and good team player.
Be able to perform individually.
Good time-management skills.
Microsoft certified SQL DBA preference.
