Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Blue Yonder WMS Techno-Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge in Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role involves working closely with clients to understand their warehouse operations, configure the WMS solution, and ensure its effective implementation and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

System Configuration:
Configure Blue Yonder WMS to meet business requirements, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations.
Customize WMS solutions based on client needs and industry best practices.
Technical Implementation:
Develop and maintain WMS integrations with other systems such as ERP, TMS, and third-party applications.
Implement and optimize data integration processes, particularly with Snowflake.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WMS configurations, integrations, and data flows.
Functional Analysis:
Analyze business processes and translate them into functional requirements for the WMS.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document system requirements and workflows.
Project Management:
Manage WMS implementation projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and adherence to project budgets.
Training & Support:
Provide training to end-users and support teams on Blue Yonder WMS functionalities and best practices.
Offer ongoing support and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement:
Monitor system performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with the latest Blue Yonder WMS features, data integration technologies, Snowflake advancements, and industry trends.

Skills and Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Blue Yonder WMS or similar warehouse management systems.
Proven experience in both technical configuration and functional analysis of WMS solutions.
Experience with data integration and Snowflake is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Blue Yonder WMS configuration and customization.
Strong understanding of WMS modules, including inventory management, order processing, and warehouse operations.
Experience with integration technologies and tools (e.g., APIs, EDI).
Expertise in data integration processes and tools, particularly with Snowflake.
Functional Skills:
In-depth knowledge of warehouse management best practices and supply chain processes.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional system designs and workflows.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Project management skills and experience managing multiple priorities.
