The Network Technology department is responsible for Akamai's interconnection standards, datacenter and network architecture and hardware engineering. The team drives technical change, by developing effective solutions which redefine the network platform.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for-
- Defining Network Technologies long-term product strategy, individual product life-cycles and roadmaps.
- Coordinating those with the business unit management and sales representatives and align them with their go-to-market roadmaps
- Working directly with business units to evaluate and PoC new product innovations and execution for products
- Evaluating and managing strategic product partner relations, to define new product offerings and meet Akamai's customer requirements
- Developing comprehensive business analysis and financial models to support business cases and long-term product planning
- Being the Go-to expert in industry trends and the competition landscape relevant to the direct and adjacent markets for the product lines of responsibility
- Developing and analyzing Network Technologies product KPI's and operational product metrics to advise product teams, business units and other internal stakeholder
Do What You Love
To be successful in this role you will-
- Have solid experience with product management, product development or equivalent experience
- Possess background in Product Management with Software or Tooling Engineering Teams as an additional asset
- Understand CDN, networking, interconnection and cloud technologies, as well as ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Understand product management discipline including product lifecycle management and some experience with product line strategic planning
- Be a great communicator with robust written and verbal skills
- Be able to gather data from the markets, assess new markets, analyze business opportunities and execute against them
