Location: Remote, MI (Candidate must reside in the Detroit Metro area due to occasional on-site support/events)

The Opportunity:

The Recruiter is the key consultant, coach and critical partner in the recruiting, hiring, placement and job growth of our talent for all positions.  Aligned with our core values to Earn Customers For Life, Take Personal Ownership, Improve Constantly and Have Fun, leads work with Hiring Managers, General Managers and Regional Vice Presidents to both identify and place talent, and to facilitate the onboarding process.

What You'll Do:
  • Partner with the appropriate hiring managers, GMs, RVPs, & Talent Acquisition Manager to determine selection criteria for each open position.
  • Work with hiring managers to create and develop effective recruitment marketing campaigns and channels to source candidates, including advertisements, hiring events, career centers, and job programs.
  • Recruit quality talent through targeted active and passive recruiting sources (i.e. resume databases, cold calling, references, referrals, interviews, print media, online, etc.)
  • Facilitate the application process and proctor pre-employment assessments.
  • Conduct interviews and provide hiring manager/s with candidate summary information.
  • Provide coaching to hiring managers on interviewing, candidate feedback and selection.
  • Conduct pre-employment screenings, including WOTC, motor vehicle records (MVRs), background checks and drug screens.
  • Consult with hiring managers, GMs, RVPs to ensure the best qualified candidates are selected for positions based on skill set, experience and cultural (company) fit.
  • Partner with HR/Hiring Support Administrator to facilitate new hire orientations for all new hires and monitor all on-boarding activities with Payroll, HR, Learning & Development and Computer Services as needed.

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required. Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence necessary for select roles.
