Senior Manager, Compensation

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation, to oversee the company's global compensation programs and manage the design and implementation of a comprehensive job architecture framework. This role will play a critical part in developing compensation structures, job leveling, and career progression pathways. You will be responsible for aligning our compensation practices with global standards while supporting the company's business goals. This role will be based in the Philippines but will support operations worldwide, making experience with international compensation practices and employment laws essential.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager, Compensation, your duties will include:

  • Job Architecture and Career Framework: Lead the design and implementation of a global job architecture framework, including job families, levels, and career paths to ensure consistency and clarity in role expectations across the organization. Manage job evaluation processes and ensure alignment between roles and developed pay structures.
  • Compensation Program Management: Lead the development and administration of base and incentive pay programs that are competitive and aligned with business and client needs as well as market practices. This includes support of the annual merit increase process, performance management, and job pricing.
  • Market Analysis and Pay Range Development: Conduct salary surveys and use benchmarking data to develop and maintain competitive pay ranges. Continuously assess compensation data and practices to ensure compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate our employees.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Person Office, Operations, Finance, and other departments to support compensation and job architecture initiatives. Provide strategic input on compensation policies and structures across unique business units.
  • Global Compliance: Ensure all compensation programs meet legal requirements across various regions, adhering to local employment laws and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in compensation design, with a focus on job architecture and career frameworks.
  • Proven experience managing and implementing global job architecture and leveling projects, including job families and career progression models.
  • Expertise in compensation program management, including market analysis, job evaluations, and pay range development.
  • Ability to develop and manage to project plans.
  • Strong understanding of international compensation practices and legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with all levels of employees, including executives.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
