Position Description
Siembra Leadership High School is searching for an experienced full-time Administrative Assistant to support the Chief of Staff and our special education office. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. This person should have experience working in an office environment and  performing administrative duties. In addition, they should see value in our mission and want to be a part of our journey.
Job Duties
  • Will report to the Chief of Staff and provide administrative support as needed
  • Handle records and scheduling for students on IEP
  • Call former schools to request documents and IEP plans for new students
  • Assist with the school calendar and making sure all school events are on the calendar without conflicts
  • Arrange family meetings to discuss student’s academic progress
  • Provide administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the Chief of Staff’s behalf.

 Requirements +Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems
  • Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employee
  • Bi-Lingual is a plus.
Position Details
  • Full-time position Monday-Friday, 32 – 40 hours
  • Fully remote position
  • Position Compensation: $30 per hour
