Your missions

 


As a Product & Sales Assistant, you’ll support in creating, developing and maintaining travel products in Japan! You’ll handle Group Series and FIT (Fully Independent Travel) inquiries from agents, including quoting, itinerary creation, managing manifests and run sheets. You'll collaborate with our reservations and operations teams to ensure smooth processes. Using the customer feedback you gather; you’ll be able to assess our customers’ requirements and optimize product offerings both proactively and on request.  
Ultimately, you’ll help ensure the best travel experience for our customers! 


This is a full-time permanent position, where you will work in our office in Osaka, Japan. To provide the best experience to our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home on occasion. 


Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 
 

  • Experience in successfully managing a range of products with a strong commercial focus  

  • Well-versed in trip design and operation, preferably with small group adventures 

  • Prior experience working with destination management companies and third-party suppliers 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint  

  • Good communication skills in English and Japanese (written and verbal) 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of tourism/travel global sales trends 

  • Understanding of how to create sustainable, experience-rich travel experiences 

  • The ability to undertake pricing and cost negotiations 

 

You’ll also be customer-oriented with great collaboration skills!
