Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance
The Senior Program Manager, Faculty, supports and creates faculty education and training for the university, supporting faculty in rank and promotion activities and leads all university/college designations and professional credentials. This role will report directly to the Associate Provost, Social Mission and be responsible for developing and delivering educational materials for the faculty of Chamberlain. They will guide faculty growth with purposeful and effective approaches that promote extraordinary faculty preparation at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Senior Program Manager will evaluate the effectiveness of the scholarship, teaching excellence and service opportunities for faculty while providing continuous quality improvement of the teaching/learning materials and modalities.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with University leadership identifies faculty needs and delivers educational offerings to advance faculty effectiveness and professional development.
  • Recruitment and oversight of facilitators and subject matter experts.
  • Completes training to launch Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) designation Expanding the program and writing the curriculum for all health professions faculty (PA, Medical, Social Work, Public Health, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the American Nurse Credentialing Center to become the first academic institution to offer an accredited transition-to-practice program for faculty.
  • Leads reaccreditation of all professional organization credentials i.e. Center of Excellence designation.
  • Supports faculty in rank and promotion through mentoring, connection with resources and scholarship support.
  • Serves as resource person and mentor for faculty and program leadership.
  • Drives improved outcomes through monitoring and tracking results against goals and outcomes.
  • Provide strategic direction faculty development communication campaigns.
  • Responsible for evaluation and updates of program materials.
  • Recommends and uses technology to implement faculty training and development cost-effectively.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications
  • PhD in nursing (or related field) from a regionally accredited institution Required
  • 3+ years Significant experience in a position of academic leadership Required and
  • 5+ years related experience in higher education and a track record of success as a faculty member Required and
  • 3+ years years of experience teaching in an online environment Required and
  • 2+ years curriculum development experience Required and
  • previous scholarship commensurate with Assistant Professor Rank or above Required
  • Knowledge of current research related to andragogy, particularly in higher education settings.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equitable and inclusive practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate the details of multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to manage a variety of business and vendor resources.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Proficient with project management practices and tools.
  • Capability to influence and instill credibility in administrative team peers and subordinates by meeting project milestones, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
  • Proven effective and consistent interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution, management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Current unencumbered registered nurse license Required and
  • Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) certification within 1-1/2 Yrs Preferred
  • Lead Nurse Planner – ANCC NCPD within 180 Days Preferred

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $80336.75 and $145077.09. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
