Your missions

Event Coordinator

Key Role:

Provide in-house meeting and event support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Envisions, imagines, and executes small and large-scale client meetings and events and external business-related functions. Apply specific functional, working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Provide cradle-to-grave support for a variety of meeting types including pre-planning, site selection, registration, event execution, and close-out. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with senior-level clients to plan and execute meetings from 5-5000 people

  • Experience with identifying the client’s requirements and expectations for each event

  • Experience with working across teams and both leading and supporting events

  • Knowledge of maintaining budgets, including labor and other direct costs

  • Ability to provide full scope support, including event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes

  • Ability to liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders to plan flawless events

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with independent task management and prioritization

  • Experience with planning and executing DoD events

  • Experience with developing CAPE packages for DoD events

  • Ability to write conference justification packages for government meetings

  • CMP or CGMP Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
