We have an exciting opportunity for an Integrations/Applications Engineer to join our IT team on a permanent basis, working hybrid including some time on our awesome office at Melbourne Quarter, Collins St.

This is a rare opportunity for technically experienced candidate to work on a wide variety of interesting and challenging technical items such as low-code integrations and app development in Microsoft Power Platform. If you love solving problems, and implementing process improvements with automations, this is the role for you. The role is ideally suited to someone who has a strong technical IT background in Microsoft applications support/engineering.

The role:

The purpose of the role is to use your technical skills across a wide variety of technologies (Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate/Logic Apps, Teams, Azure, Salesforce and Okta) to administer systems, build automations, solve level 2/3 technical problems and work on implementation and improvement projects.

You will:

  • Investigate and work on a variety of complex (level 2/3) technical projects across the portfolio of SaaS applications, including Microsoft (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Azure), Salesforce, Okta and many more.
  • Design and develop middleware integrations/automations (primarily in low-code tools such as Logic Apps / Power Automate) to automate business process improvements.
  • Design and develop internal apps using low-code development platforms, such as Microsoft tools Azure AI services
  • Assist in the delivery of technology improvements through implementation of new systems
  • Contribute to the BAU support of a set of SaaS applications by analysing causes of incidents and problems, and work with service owners to minimise probability of recurrence and contribute to service improvement.
  • Work with application vendors to escalate issues, procure and coordinate changes, and maintain vendor relationship

Qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, computer science, engineering, or similar essential
  • 10+ years’ experience in roles across IT application support/engineering or integrations development.
  • Experience in integration/automation development, ideally in LogicApps / Power Automate
  • Experience in one or more of the following enterprise applications: Microsoft (SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, Azure AI services), Salesforce

  • Exceptional attention to detail and thorough in approach
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to understand the business problem/intent and think beyond the technical
  • Demonstrated consultative, customer-centric approach, and a clear ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders at all levels
