Job description

Your missions

Location: Remotely, with monthly visits to Riyadh, KSA.
Project Duration: 6 months.
Experience Required: 5 years of experience.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (written and spoken).

We are seeking a highly qualified ESG Project Specialist with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least 5 years of experience, and a strong background in consulting services and sustainability projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in Saudi Arabia, contributing to high-impact sustainability and ESG initiatives. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to support the successful implementation of projects aimed at improving environmental, social, and governance outcomes, ensuring compliance with both local and international ESG standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, implementation, and execution of ESG and sustainability projects across various industries, particularly focusing on projects within Saudi Arabia.
Work closely with internal and external teams to develop ESG strategies, ensuring alignment with Saudi Arabia's regulations and global sustainability standards.
Conduct detailed ESG assessments, including environmental impact analyses, carbon footprint evaluations, and social responsibility audits.
Provide consulting services to clients, guiding them through the development and execution of sustainability practices and ESG frameworks.
Assist in the development of ESG project documentation, including sustainability reports, project plans, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
Collaborate with clients to define project objectives, ensure their sustainability goals are met, and deliver on strategic ESG initiatives.
Conduct market analysis and research to provide insights on ESG trends, regulations, and best practices within Saudi Arabia.
Monitor the progress of ESG projects, providing periodic updates to clients and internal teams, and ensuring that project timelines, budgets, and goals are met.
Ensure that all ESG initiatives comply with Saudi Arabian laws, industry regulations, and international sustainability standards such as GRI, SASB, and UN SDGs.
Engage with local stakeholders, including community groups, government entities, and environmental organizations to promote ESG best practices and corporate responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline).
A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on ESG and sustainability projects.
Proven experience working in Saudi Arabia with a strong understanding of local market dynamics, regulations, and environmental policies.
Strong consulting experience, particularly in providing strategic advice on sustainability and ESG matters to clients.
