Job Title: Drug Testing Coordinator (Random Coordinator)

Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Location: U.S. Remote

About The Role:

The Drug Testing Coordinator (Random Coordinator) is responsible for the preparation and generating return to duty tests, follow-up schedules and random lists as required by Department of Transportation regulations and company policies. This employee will be responsible for the compliance monitoring of all random consortium pools, coordinating with Account Managers to ensure client compliance, testing completion of all return to duty and follow up testing.  

This Is What You’ll Do:

  • Notifies clients to submit employees list & that random lists are available

  • Prepares files for importing into the random generator

  • Computes the random selection based on regulatory guidelines or company requirements.

  • Generates and releases monthly and quarterly random lists prior to client deadline.

  • Monitors compliance with testing and submission requirements for all random consortiums

  • Updates compliance spreadsheets for all clients with random selections

  • Coordinates with Account Managers to remove non-compliant employers

  • Ensures new clients are incorporated into the system

  • Updates and maintains various spreadsheets related to client contact information and compliance data.

  • Process billing for services provided as needed

  • Responds to requests for compliance information for regulatory audits

  • Reviews SAP letters for compliance with Department of Transportation regulations

  • Schedules testing following recommendations of SAP

  • Monitors completion of all testing

  • Reports required results to FMCSA Clearinghouse

  • Maintains and updates client specific procedures

  • Processes all notifications according to client procedures

  • Assist MRO Department as needed

This Is What We’re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • One year of customer service and general office experience

  • One year drug & alcohol testing experience is preferred

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with high attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload

  • Computer literate with Microsoft products such as Windows, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word and including advanced Excel knowledge

  • Basic typing skills at 40 wpm

The salary range for this position is $18 to $19 per hour, or the minimum wage in your local market, whichever is greater. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  A full range of benefits including but not limited to medical, financial, unlimited sick time, 22 days’ vacation annually (for FT workers; prorated 1st year of employment), parental leave and other benefits are also provided. This information is provided per several state and local Equal Pay and Pay Transparency Laws. Base pay information is based on market location.
