As a Product Manager overseeing Customer Intelligence Management, you will be responsible for leveraging customer-related data to continuously improve internal due diligence processes, enhancing the firm’s ability to detect and investigate potential risks. You will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of upgrading the KYC and transaction monitoring systems through automation, while developing a scalable framework to support the organization's growth.

Below, we define our Factors of Growth & Impact to help Anchorage Villagers measure their impact and articulate feedback, coaching, and the rich learning that happens while exploring, developing, and mastering capabilities within and beyond the Member of Product, Transparency role:

Technical Skills:
  • Develop complete knowledge of your product area, regarded as a SME, and a working understanding of the product areas closely related to yours. Deeply understand our clients' problems and their needs, their behavior, and how they run their operations.
  • Execute and adapt the entire Anchorage Product Process, including leading product research and discovery, prioritizing projects, articulating and evolving requirements, overseeing development, and planning for go-to-market and post-launch success.
  • Demonstrate agility in adapting to circumstances, apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and proactively mitigate risks/issues.

  • Complexity and Impact of Work:
  • Prioritize and manage the product roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives and direct the entire product development lifecycle, including cross-functional dependencies.
  • Navigate through ambiguity by applying judgment and techniques to evaluate the right course of action autonomously.
  • Dedicated to acting with customers in mind by demonstrating ownership of the product area, focusing on continuous improvement, and establishing and maintaining effective relationships to gain trust and respect.
  • Research and learn to deepen understanding and knowledge of relevant areas of specialization or domains, systems, and processes for continuous improvement and growth.

  • Organizational Knowledge:
  • Understand how the company’s priorities relate to your own area of work, and clearly communicate the ‘why’ behind the work when defining and planning goals of the team.
  • Navigate through organizational processes and strategy and influence changes in those processes when required.
  • Anticipate and understand the impact of your decisions on other areas.

  • Communication and Influence:
  • Foster collaboration and healthy communication across teams and stakeholders through proactive and consistent interactions.
  • Excel in clear and empathetic communication with clients and users, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Messaging is tailored to your audience and structured to be understood.

  • You may be a fit for this role if you have:

  • Experience leading the development of frameworks, focusing on creating fully integrated and scalable systems.
  • Experience in driving and managing complex projects across multiple teams, demonstrating exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at conveying complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing industry dynamics, priorities, and client needs, ensuring that product strategies remain relevant and proactive.

  • Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
  • You have experience designing effective regulatory compliance controls in the financial services industry.
  • You have the ability to analyze complex data to extract actionable insights to make decisions.
  • You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)
