TDMK Digital is a User Experience and Software Development company providing product strategy and next-generation mobile and cloud software solutions to innovative federal government agencies.  TDMK Digital is looking for a qualified UX Developer to join our team to support one of our federal contracts.


This UX Designer will be responsible for working closely with clients to understand product vision and create simple, innovative, impactful, and elegant UX solutions that enhance customer experience, content availability and accessibility, work across every stage of user experience, from designing new features to prototyping high fidelity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Work with UX clients to gain deep understanding of customer needs and business goals, and collect valuable feedback and insight in order to drive product direction
Champion the discovery, research, and data synthesis to identify critical user insights and develop hypotheses to design effective experiences
Communicate with excellent aesthetic and an influential voice to shape and position ideas for customer impact
Apply advance understanding for composition, color, typography, iconography, texture, photographic curation, and usability to help users successfully navigate dynamic multimedia experiences
Define the visual direction of a project to shape and position ideas for customer impact
Apply best practices for human-centric design to common visual and usability challenges
Plan information architecture by studying the site concept, strategy, and target audience
Perform user research and observation of user tasks and integrate these findings with business requirements to transform the user mental model into the user interface
Document the user experience through user flows, mental models, scenarios, storyboards, and mockups or prototypes
Utilize various cognitive techniques to evaluate user interfaces with end users to refine the UI to ensure it complements the user task, environment, profile, and needs
Act as an experience evangelist, advocating for end-users and representing their needs and perspectives to the extended team
Develop relationships across a project team, specifically with technical team members and software developers

Required Skills:
Exceptional proficiency in user-centric front-end web development
High proficiency in using prototype tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, Zeplin, Abstract and InVision
Understanding of Accessible Design/Development principles
Sound knowledge of Atomic Design as well as component-based design-development
Demonstrated heuristic evaluation and performance data analysis skill
Strong communication and presentation skills as well as attention to detail
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams

Experience and Education Required:
6+ years of visual and sensory systems design
6+ years in user research, and UX/UI design for Web and Mobile interfaces
BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Related Technology field
Must be a US Citizen
Active or ability to get a Public Trust clearance
