Purpose:    

As Franchise Development Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving franchise recruitment and development by leading marketing efforts across a variety of digital and social channels, as well as industry specific events such as tradeshows.  

You will collaborate closely with the Franchise Development and Marketing teams, as well as 3rd party partners, to craft and execute strategies that attract new franchisees and support the growth of existing ones. 

Location: This position will work onsite out of our Corporate office in Sandy Springs, GA.  

What that looks like day to day    

  • Work cross functionally with the executive leadership, marketing team and Franchise Development team on multi-channel marketing strategies and roadmap
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives, such as paid and owned channel strategies, blogs, PR content, as well as various marketing materials 
  • Attend franchise trade shows to support the representation of Edible Brands Franchise Development team  
  • Attend franchise development meetings to provide updates on franchise development marketing efforts and communicate brand updates with the marketing team 
  • Manage internal and external relationships to identify and leverage strategic content opportunities, including PR and media placements for Edible Brands Franchising  
  • Work hands on as a contributor, as well as partnering with outside agencies in the development of creative assets, messaging, and brand campaigns that effectively communicate Edible Brands' value proposition and resonate with target audiences
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment with marketing, communications and brand strategies
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement
  • Conduct market research, monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to stay ahead of market developments and adjust marketing strategies accordingly
  • Effectively plan, prioritize, and execute multiple branding and communications initiatives simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met
  • Bring fresh ideas and creative approaches to branding, marketing and communications strategies, staying ahead of industry trends and competitor activities
  • Adapt to changing priorities and navigate through challenges with resilience, maintaining focus on long-term brand, marketing and communications objectives

Required Experience:    

  • 5-7 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years' experience spearheading Franchise Marketing strategies 
  • Advertising agency a bonus 
  • Experience in event sponsorship and brand activations a preferred 
  • Experience in developing structured documents and PPT presentations to effectively articulate concepts & information to internal and external audiences with minimal direction 
  • Experience in setting marketing KPIs and the tactics that drive them 
  • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office proficiency  
  • Proven success in leading, developing and implementing brand strategies based on consumer insights, market data, category trends, and the competitive environment.  
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
