Head of SW Product Development (200+ People, Multi-site, International) - Tietoevry Care (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Head of Software Product Development to lead our global team, with direct and dotted line managerial reports. This role has been created as part of our new operational model. 

In this position, you will be responsible for strategic planning, continuous improvement, quality assurance, and efficiency management in our product development process. 

You will report to the Head of Specialized Products & Consulting, be a member of the leadership team, and collaborate closely with management, business units, delivery teams, support, and staff functions. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead an international, multi-site product organization to develop and deliver market-leading, high-quality products and solutions. 

• Define a vision and strategy for software engineering methodologies, workflows, and developer experience. 

• Drive continuous improvement in our DevOps practices. 

• Foster cooperation and networking within our business unit and with internal and external partners. 

• Ensure teams deliver effectively and efficiently, provide operational support, and disseminate best practices across teams. 

We are looking for someone with 

• Experience in building complex digital products and cloud-based systems in demanding, mission-critical, large-scale environments. 

• Proven ability and experience in leading an international team with managers in the Nordics and India. 

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and manage a high-performing organization, acting as a change manager. 

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate and align potentially conflicting views with internal and external stakeholders. 

Beneficial Experience 

• Experience in B2B business, preferably within the public sector.
