Your missions

Overview: 

SageSure Insurance Managers is seeking a highly motivated individual with the drive and desire to make significant contributions to the success of the business. The Premium Accounting Mail Clerk will manage all SageSure Tallahassee incoming payments, rejects, returned disbursements, and provide ongoing Cash Balancing support. This includes payment QA, tracking and reprocessing, cash reporting, research, and required banking activitiesThe candidate must be service minded, self-driven, and detailed-orientated.  

What you’d be doing: 

  • Opening and sorting all Premium Accounting related mail 
  • Record, track, and QA all Payments received in the Tallahassee Office 
  • Coordinate the re-processing of all payments sent to lockbox & manage control sheet & tracking 
  • Processing and documenting all Payment rejects received in the Tallahassee Office 
  • Perform required Outreach functions in support of the Cash Balancing Team assignments 
  • Research and advise on returned mail, checks, payments, etc. 
  • Record and track all returned disbursements, including, notating the policy in IPC-Manager and doing outreach as needed 
  • Other clerical duties and projects as assigned 

We’re looking for someone who has: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts ordinary and customary to the accounting function. 
  • Attention to accuracy and detail and organizational skills 
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create, navigate, and use Excel spreadsheets effectively. 

Highly preferred candidates also have: 

  • 2 years’ experience in an office environment 
  • Advanced Excel Knowledge and Abilities
