About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Senior Security Advisor, IAM Governance!

What you’ll do:

  • Provide advice and leadership for the creation and execution of corporate standards, guidelines and best practices in developing and deploying Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
  • Act as a key player in IAM governance and provide a focal point for governance solutions.
  • Gather governance requirements from stakeholders and design solutions around them.
  • Contribute to the development of the IAM security roadmap, policies, standards and procedures.
  • Contribute to IAM strategic direction by offering strategic solutions that improve and support business processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with various partners in technology areas such as architecture and engineering, as well as all lines of business and risk functions, to ensure alignment with overall strategic and business objectives.
  • Identify, assess and report on security risks in compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
  • Participate in and ensure the smooth running of the organization's IAM internal and external audits.


What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in information technology with 5+ years in the field of information security.
  • Strong knowledge of identity and access management principles and practices.
  • Sound understanding of IAM standards such as NIST SP800-53 and ISO 27001.
  • One of the following certifications would be a major asset: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, GSEC, GISP.
  • Positive attitude, team player and willingness to learn.
  • Critical thinking.
  • Demonstrated commitment to training, self-study and maintaining technical cybersecurity skills.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
