Company and Role Summary

At the Natural Dog Company, we have the greatest set of actors in the history of the world - people’s dogs! We make natural and effective daily nutritional supplements and wellness products that improve the lives of dogs and dog parents. We have thousands of stories and positive reviews from our customers about how much their dogs love our products and how they’ve made their lives better.

We’re looking for an in-house Creative Producer and Strategist who can bring these stories and our products to life. This is a hands-on producer role responsible for quarterbacking the creation of assets for distribution across various channels, with a strong emphasis in paid social creative. Our philosophy is simple - if you can create an ad that performs well, we’ll put an endless budget behind it. The more excellent creative you make, the more advertising spend we can put behind it to show it to the world!

What You'll Do Everyday
  • Storyboard, write, and direct creative production for assets across our product lines, with a focus on video content for Social advertising across META, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Maintain a heavy focus on video assets geared towards use in Social advertising, across META, Tiktok, and YouTube
    • Today, the bulk of our paid advertising is direct response. Our aim is to improve and expand this work, and bring new customers to Natural Dog
    • We also have a large, existing customer base who we want to re-engage on a more regular basis to increase their brand love and keep coming back
  • Measure performance, identify and iterate winning creatives, and re-shoot poor performers - help us find what works and make more of it!
  • Create or oversee the creation of short User-Generated Content (UGC) that spotlights our products and real-world use cases, leveraging the authentic voices of influencers, creators, customers, and other dog parents.
  • Write creator & influencer briefs to source on-target content at scale. We aim to grow our affiliate partners by 100x!
    • Work with our existing production partners, and source any additional partners you feel best create for our brand
  • Stay on top of ad and creative trends, particularly within the pet category and broader CPG market.
  • Utilize your creative brain power to come up with creative concepts and styles for telling our story and teaching consumers and their dogs about our products
  • Weigh in on and help write landing page copy to ensure customer experience is consistent from ad to lander to offer.
  • Work with our marketing activation team to ensure our brand story is cohesive across channels (ie: Email, SMS, Social, etc)
Qualifications
  • A nose for hooky and engaging content + a great sense of humor
  • Experience with direct response marketing and creating ads for paid social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • A dog of your own. We believe that firsthand experience as a dog parent brings invaluable insights and authenticity to our content. Your dog will also frequently star in the content you create!
  • Pre-production skills such as storyboarding, scripting, and working with influencers and contracted talent to make your vision come to life
  • An exceptional eye for detail, ensuring that all content is absolutely as engaging as possible while living up to our brand standards.
  • 0-3+ years of advertising experience at an agency, brand, performance marketing company, YouTube channel, or similar business with an emphasis on content creation. Or, if you lack direct experience, a burning passion to create engaging, compelling content, and a demonstrable instinct for highly efficient creative.
