About the Role:

This role is ideal for an Automation QA Engineer who is driven by quality and for the need for continuous improvement. The Automation QA Engineer is responsible for creating automation tests and ensuring they are run against different builds, i.e., QA, Staging, Release and will use their experience in creating tests using Java with Selenium Web Driver.

Requirements

  Key Responsibilities:

·  Review and analyze system specifications

·  Work with Product Owners, QA’s and Developers to understand technical aspects

·  Analyse business requirements to design and implement automated test cases

·  Create and Execute test cases and analyze results using Selenium Webdriver

·  Evaluate product code according to specifications

·  Report bugs and errors to development teams

·  Ensure product quality is maintained throughout the whole software development lifecycle

·  Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

·  Provide feedback to the wider team regarding automation results with particular focus on failures and escalation

·  Communicate delays and issues in a timely manner

·  Encourage automation throughout the QA team and actively promote the use of automation

·  Identify from existing manual test cases, cases to be automated

·  Assist with any other product quality related activities

·  Participate in the Agile ceremonies associated with the project team that you are working in

Requirements:

·  Experience as an Automation QA Engineer

·  Experience in Automation using Java with Selenium Webdriver

·  Experience in creating Automation Frameworks from scratch

·  Experience in programming concepts

·  Experience with BDD using Cucumber

·  Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

·  Working knowledge of test management software

·  Excellent communication skills

·  Attention to detail

·  Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude

·  Strong organizational skills

·  Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
