Job description

Position:Technical Project Manager

Location:Remote with Travel Required (North America)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager!

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end deployment of an AI Solution, ensuring timely delivery and execution. Develop and manage aggressive project timelines, ensuring that all milestones are met.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary external-facing contact for clients, conducting discovery sessions and kick-off calls. Work closely with retail partners to understand their needs, define requirements, and deliver customized solutions.
  • Technical Implementation:Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other technical teams to ensure successful deployment. Oversee engineering workflows, manage timelines, and resolve any technical issues that arise.
  • Logistics Management:Coordinate the logistics of hardware engagement, including ordering, shipping, and installation of carts at retail locations. Determine the appropriate number of carts needed for each retailer and manage the entire supply chain process.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams on signage and promotional materials, operations teams to ensure proper training on the carts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation. Act as a liaison between various departments to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Problem Solving and Execution:Take charge of problem-solving, remove roadblocks, and push projects forward with a sense of urgency. Set aggressive deadlines, hold internal stakeholders accountable, and drive faster delivery to stay ahead of schedule.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in technical project management, with a strong focus on project delivery and execution in consulting companies (e.g., Deloitte, KPMG) or similar environments. Experience with Retail Tech, B2B SaaS, or E-Commerce implementations (especially payment, fulfillment, inventory) is highly preferred.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to manage client relationships, understand business needs, and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers and understand complex technical workflows. Prior experience overseeing technical projects and working closely with engineering teams.
  • Leadership and Influence: A natural leader with a strong presence who can take charge, set aggressive timelines, and drive projects to completion. Must be assertive, outgoing, and able to push teams to deliver results faster.
  • Problem Solving: Proven ability to solve complex problems, remove obstacles, and ensure project success. Must be a proactive, self-starter who can figure things out with minimal guidance.
  • Cross-Functional Experience: Experience working in highly cross-functional roles, coordinating with multiple teams, and managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Personality: Must be aggressive, assertive, and able to push for results in a high-pressure environment. A go-getter attitude with a strong sense of urgency is crucial.
