The Role & What You Will Be Doing 

The Veeva CRM Manager is a key role within the Global IT Commercial Development team, serving as the technical expert for the CRM systems. The role manages the technology solutions that support our Sales Force Automation (SFA), including but not limited to Salesforce and Veeva. The role will also manage digital channels in SFA like Remote Engagement, Rep Triggered Email, and integration with Omnichannel platforms. The candidate must be technically sound in Salesforce and Veeva CRM. Responsibilities of this role include overseeing technical solutioning, working with team to improve functionality challenges, engaging with third party vendors to understand development and code changes, reviewing business processes, and offering technical solutions to solve problems in CRM.

  • Play the lead technical role for Veeva CRM by reviewing business requirements, proposing solutions to the development teams, have hands on keyboard for any technical Proof of Concept, perform technical UAT and driving technical conversations to streamline our global CRM landscape  

  • Works with development resources throughout the entire lifecycle, fluent in agile and waterfall delivery and getting the most value from the platform. 

  • Responsible for the design and documentation associated. 

  • As an IT liaison to the business, this position acts as an internal consultant with the goal of improving processes and identifying opportunities for innovation through building and maintaining relationships with functional leaders. 

  • Serve as subject matter expert for the CRM, able to lead conversations about the functionality offered currently and what could be solutioned for future. As the SME role showcase in the tools the “how to” for existing and new capability. 

  • Review business requirements by understanding business needs for various modules in SFA solution and document the design. 

  • Collaborate and engage with appropriate technical support teams for resolving application-level issues impacting business partner operations. 

  • Contributes to the solutioning of business needs for desired capabilities within enhancement process 

  • Supports the operational Viatris run team to facilitate discussions with Business as needed to solution an issue, drafting work instruction documentation.                    

 

 

About Your Skills & Experience 

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences: 

  • Bachelor´s degree or equivalent in MIS, Information Technology or CIS, SFA, CRM. 

  • At least 7 years of experience with Veeva CRM. 

  • At least 7 years of development experience on SFDC.  

  • SFDC Admin or Veeva CRM or Vault Certification is a plus.  

  • Advanced level of English.
