Technical Lead - Platform with NV2

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership:
  
• Lead a team of engineers in the architecture, design, and implementation of platform components.
  
• Set technical direction and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  
• Architecture & Design:
  
• Design and maintain scalable and resilient architecture for the platform.
  
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
  
• Performance Optimization:
  
• Monitor platform performance and implement optimizations to improve scalability and efficiency.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues as they arise.
  
• Collaboration:
  
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  
• Foster collaboration between platform and application teams to ensure seamless integration.
  
• Mentorship & Development:
  
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting a culture of learning and development.
  
• Conduct regular code reviews and design discussions to elevate team standards.
  
• Security & Compliance:
  
• Implement security best practices and ensure the platform complies with relevant regulations and standards.
  
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• [5+] years of experience in software engineering, with at least [2+] years in a technical lead role focusing on platform or infrastructure.
  
• Proficiency in [relevant programming languages and technologies, e.g., Java, Go, Python, Kubernetes, etc.].
  
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration.
  
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and API design principles.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  
• Security Clearance: NV2 clearance is required.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
  
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  
• Knowledge of database technologies and data storage solutions.
